If we decide to reorganize Benue music, the industry will pay handsomely the problem is
1- Restructuring PMAN
2-Massive campaign against free shows.
3-Establishment of PMAN across All the Local governments in Benue
4-Regulating show biz promoters
5-Holding annual, quarterly meetings of the various labels, COEs, MCs, show promoter, DJ’s, comedians and producers.
This will give every artist a sense of belonging to a profession and hence place value on his intellectual property (songs).
Benue music will pay if a structure is put in place and it’s well monitored,
If the body PMAN can Wait and dedicate few persons to go round and educate artist through out the LGs and register all artist in before the election it will be a plus. Tell it to them that PMAN is not in Zone A senatorial district. And hence any election hold shall be anud soon. PMAN Benue chapter is not just about MKD alone. Benue music need a PMAN that will talk to the state government and seek support funds for artist. Every allocation sent to the state covers all forms of entertainment.. but until PMAN live up to expectation they can’t access the finance available. Let’s there for restructure PMAN Benue chapter.
