Hon. Orya, who is one of the youngest commissioners in the state’s history, has been a key figure in the Alia administration’s ongoing infrastructure projects. His re-appointment is seen by many as a vote of confidence in his leadership and the progress made under his previous tenure. He has been at the forefront of major initiatives, including the highly anticipated High-Level underpass project in Makurdi, which aims to ease traffic congestion and improve urban mobility in the state capital.

The swearing-in ceremony marks the beginning of a new phase of governance in Benue, with the administration focused on delivering on its development agenda. Observers believe that with Hon. Orya’s continued coordination of key projects, the state can expect to see further improvements in its road networks and public infrastructure. The re-appointment of a young and dynamic leader like Hon. Orya also reinforces the administration’s commitment to youth inclusion and good governance.
