Sometimes, the best news comes when we least expect it. For Alhassan Jnr Enemona, joy overflowed when he received a message that would not only change his life but also transform the future of two orphans forever.
On his Facebook page, Enemona excitedly shared that his brother, Mr. Adam Bedemasi, the Chief Executive Officer of Zambabay NIG Limited, had reached out with a life-changing offer. Out of his magnanimity, Mr. Bedemasi pledged to sponsor the education of two orphans, a boy and a girl for life. This support isn’t just about paying school fees for a term or two; it’s about walking with them from their early years in primary or secondary school all the way to the highest academic heights, even a PhD, if they choose.
For Enemona, this moment feels deeply personal. He admits he has done little for his people in the past and this opportunity is a way to honour his late parents while giving back to his community. In his words, he may be “a little biased” in the selection process, choosing one orphan from his own local government in Kogi State and another from his brother’s local government.
But the vision doesn’t stop there. With faith and dedication, Enemona promises that future sponsorships will reach Benue State, other parts of Nigeria and eventually, the world at large.
This story is more than an act of charity—it is a reminder that when people come together with compassion, real change begins. A child without hope today could become a leader tomorrow, simply because someone believed in them.
As Enemona put it: “All these we commit in God’s hands”.
