Talented Nigerian singer Lady Pesh has recounted a terrifying experience that unfolded in the early hours of the morning, shortly after performing at the birthday celebration of the Youth Leader of Benue State, Hon. Terver Gbenda.
According to her statement, the incident occurred around 2 a.m., just after she returned home from the event. She explained that while preparing to rest, armed robbers broke into her room — the only room targeted in the house.
The robbers reportedly made away with several items, including her phone, her sister’s phone, and a sound box.
“It was one of the most frightening moments of my life,” Lady Pesh shared.
Acting swiftly, the singer contacted Hon. Terver Gbenda, who wasted no time in responding. He mobilized his team and personally headed toward her residence. Fortunately, they encountered the robbers on the way and were able to recover the stolen belongings except her sim card, though the culprits escaped.
